情景：外国友人想请几天假。
A foreigner is taking a couple of days off.

A: I’m afraid I can’t come to work, Mr. Zhang.
恐怕我今天不能来上班了，张先生。

B: Oh, what’s the problem?
噢，出什么事了？

A: I’ve got a very sore throat.
我的嗓子疼得厉害。

B: Yes, you sound ill.
是的，听得出来你病了。

A: I’ll stay in bed today, and I want to take a couple of days off. I’ll be able to come as soon as possible.
今天我会卧床休息,想请几天的假。我会尽快回来上班的。

B: That’s all right. Stay in bed until you feel well enough to work.
没关系。卧床休息，直到你感觉舒服了再来上班。

A: Thank you Mt Zhang.
谢谢你，张先生。
